      Cherie Dimaline

      Cherie Dimaline is an author and editor from the Georgian Bay Métis community. Most recently, Cherie won the Governor General's Award for Young People's Literature and the U.S. Kirkus Award for Young Readers for her 2017 novel, The Marrow Thieves. Cherie currently lives in Toronto, Ontario, where she coordinates the annual Indigenous Writers' Gathering.
