Celebrating two Quebec legends: Michel Côté and Celine Dion
Critics Nantali Indongo and Thomas Leblanc break down Quebec’s unique celebrity culture

Canadian actor Michel Côté died Monday at the age of 72. The actor was best known for his performances in Jean-Marc Vallée's 2005 film 'C.R.A.Z.Y.,' Robert Ménard's 'Cruising Bar' (1989), and Gabriel Pelletier's rom-com from 2000 'Life After Love.'
Côté wasn't a household name in the rest of Canada, but in his home province of Quebec, he was as loved as Céline Dion.
Dion also made headlines this week with the announcement that she's cancelling all remaining stops on her 'Courage' world tour as she battles an incurable health disorder known as stiff-person syndrome (SPS).
Culture critics Nantali Indongo and Thomas Leblanc join Elamin Abdelmahmoud to talk about the two stars, and how their careers help us understand Quebec's very unique celebrity culture.
