The Canadian Press reported earlier this week that The 2025 Juno Awards will not include four categories: reggae recording, children's album, Christian/gospel album and international album of the year.

In the wake of this news, music journalist Dalton Higgins and Taes Leavitt of Juno Award-winning children's music group Splash'N Boots join host Elamin Abdelmahmoud to talk about how the loss of these awards will impact their communities, and what their elimination says about the future of these genres.
