Cookies from the 6ix? Learn how to make an edible portrait of Drake
Started from the batter, now we're here
You know that feeling when someone's so cute you want to pinch their face and just "eat them up"? Well, now you can!
Toronto-based cookie artist, Rebecca Levitan, has a talent for painting realistic portraits of just about any famous face using icing and food colouring on a cookie. Her whole process takes one hour from start to finish, and the end result is a completely edible portrait.
Levitan has created famous cookie faces from Gwyneth Paltrow to Larry David to Frida Kahlo to Queen Elizabeth (Levitan's most challenging portrait yet, she told us). We wanted in on her process — and what better artist to immortalize in dough than October's Very Own, Drake?
In this video, Levitan let us in on her step-by-step for creating a Drake cookie. The only secret Levitan wouldn't give up? The recipe to her signature cookie dough — the best you ever had. Happy painting!
