This Halifax artist installed a ferris wheel at the peak of the city... for one night only

Anna Sprague saw her gigantic art installation go up and then come down hours later but, as you can see in this video, it was an exhilarating experience for her.

Sprague's project involved installing a ferris wheel for just one night. She chose Citadel Hill, as it is the highest point in Halifax and considered the city's most recognized landmark. The installation was part of Nocturne: Art at Night, the city's festival promoting arts that works in a similar vein to Nuit Blanche.

In creating this video produced by CBC's Stephanie Matteis, filmmaker Marcia Connolly said, "It was pretty amazing to be on the ferris wheel and look out to the ocean."
