Is wrestling art? The folks behind Toronto's Super Kick'd make a hard argument for it
The inclusive wrestling rock show throws design, performance and writing into the ring
When correspondent Qais Pasha told us he wanted to check out Super Kick'd — a wrestling outfit in Toronto — we sent him with our blessings. What he found when he got there was an inclusive, encouraging studio where folks not only train but design props and merch, write stories and stage some pretty elaborate shows.
Pasha sat down with Kris Chambers and Ashley Sixx of Super Kick'd to find out more about the energy that drives their sport, and why they would file it under "arts." They'll take you inside the show in the video above.
Super Kick'd's next show is on January 27 in Toronto. Find out more here.
