Haim on sexism, sisterhood and their third album Women in Music Pt. III
The group's latest record came out of a period of intense reflection, change and hardship

This interview originally aired on July 22, 2020.
When the Los Angeles-based rock band Haim exploded onto the scene in 2012 with a single called Forever, they had already been playing together, well, forever.
Made up of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, the group spent their Saturdays growing up rehearsing with their family band, Rockinhaim. In 2007, the sisters started their own band, and in 2013, they released Days Are Gone — the record that changed their lives.
Este, Danielle and Alana joined Q's Tom Power over Zoom around the release of their third studio album, Women in Music Pt. III, to talk about songwriting through difficult times, how California has influenced their sound and why they chose to open up about their sisterhood on this record.
