The Toronto-based sketch comic Laura Ramoso has amassed more than 700,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram for her hilarious impressions of her German mom and Italian dad, as well as characters like "museum volunteer desperate for human interaction."

Ramoso talks to Q's Tom Power about her audition for Julliard as a dramatic actor, how she found sketch comedy, and the joy of returning to the stage in her new one-woman show, Frances.
