Alok Mukherjee

Alok Mukherjee served as chair of the Toronto Police Services Board from 2005 to 2015. He is the author, with Tim Harper, of Excessive Force: Toronto’s Fight to Reform City Policing. Since March 2022, Alok has been chairing an independent expert panel advising the Thunder Bay police services board on ways to improve governance and regain public trust, especially from the region’s First Nations.
