Karina Vernon researches and teaches Canadian and Black Canadian literature, with a focus on archives and Black-Indigenous relations, among other topics. She is editor of The Black Prairie Archives: An Anthology and a forthcoming companion volume, Critical Readings in the Black Prairie Archives. She is the co-editor of Call and Response-ability: Black Canadian Works of Art and the Politics of Relation, also forthcoming.
