In Toronto? Come see the Canada Reads 2020 authors and panellists in conversation

Join the Canada Reads finalists and their celebrity champions in conversation as they discuss the one book to bring Canada into focus on Jan. 22 at the Indigo Eaton Centre.

In Toronto? Come see the Canada Reads 2020 authors and panellists in conversation. 

Gill Deacon, host of CBC Toronto's Here & Now, will moderate a conversation between the authors and their celebrity champions as they discuss the one book to bring Canada into focus.

The event will be held at Indigo Eaton Centre on Wed. Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. The event is free, but requires a ticket. You can reserve your tickets here.

There will not be a book signing at this event.

The final five books and their champions will be revealed the morning of Jan. 22, 2020.

The debates will take place March 16-19, 2020 and will be hosted by Ali Hassan.

The debates will be broadcast on CBC Radio OneCBC TVCBC Gem and on CBC Books

Ticket information to attend the live debates will be announced on Jan. 22.

Science journalist and broadcaster Ziya Tong won Canada Reads 2019, championing Max Eisen's memoir By Chance Alone.

Since winning Canada Reads, it was announced that By Chance Alone would be published in the United States.
