Rupi Kaur, the superstar Instagram poet, has announced her second poetry collection. the sun and her flowers follows the bestselling milk and honey and will be available on Oct. 3, 2017.

milk and honey has sold almost two million copies worldwide. It is the only poetry collection on CBC Books' list of the 150 bestselling Canadian books of the past 10 years, coming in at #72.

Kaur developed a following through her Instagram account, with art and poetry focusing on heartbreak, abuse, love and femininity. She currently has more than 1.4 million followers on the photo-sharing platform.

"I feel beyond excited and blessed to take readers on this new journey with me," said Kaur in a press release. "This new book has had so much heart poured into it. I have been working on this vision for three years and now it's come to life."

the sun and her flowers is inspired by the life cycle of a flower. The collection will be divided into five sections: wilting, falling, rooting, rising, and blooming.
