What is your Canada Thing? CBC's cross-country tour begins July 1
Celebrate Canada Day with CBC!

CBC kicks off It's a Canada Thing summer tour on July 1st.
Everyone in Canada has a specific idea of what living in this country means to them. Whether it's unique to their family traditions, honouring multiple cultural backgrounds, or simply embracing the niche customs of their community — whatever that specific Canada thing is, it connects us and makes us, well, us. So let's celebrate it.
This Canada Day, we're asking people across the country to share their Canada thing with pride.
Celebrating Canada together
Visit our colourful pop-up kiosk to share what living in this country means to you and test your knowledge of Canadian culture in a friendly competition to win fun CBC prizes.
Join CBC on Canada Day at The Forks in Winnipeg, Wascana Park in Regina, Chinguacousy Park in Brampton, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax, and Victoria Park in Charlottetown.
In the coming weeks, we will announce new dates for our It's a Canada Thing summer tour, featuring stops at festivals and events throughout Canada.
