Things get far out and groovy in the tent as the bakers tackle classic recipes from decades past.

Old School Week's challenges transport the bakers back in time to recreate homey baked goods of the past. The bakers made a boss Signature bake, a gnarly Technical, and a Showstopper that was far out, man.

The judges selected a groovy Star Baker, and then had the totally bogus task of telling one baker that their time in the tent had come to an end, and they had to go home.

Did you see how many decades we referenced just there?

THERE ARE SPOILERS BELOW! GO WATCH THE EPISODE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY.

Spoilers start below this line.

For this week's Technical Bake, the bakers tried their hand at crème caramel, a tricky dessert that was a menu staple at fancy restaurants in the 1950s and '60s.

For a Showstopper, the bakers were asked to make a celebration slab cake. It was Jasmine's rosé cake, celebrating her graduating class, that helped put her over the top, winning our youngest baker the Old School Week Star Baker crown.
