Cats have dominated the internet for decades, but did you know that some of the most popular cat content of the past few years has featured Canadian cats? Smudge, of angry-salad-eating fame (and subsequent memes), and Ed the orange tabby, from this viral Mr.Sandman TikTok moment, are just a couple of the faces you might recognize.

Since today is International Cat Day, we can't think of a better way to celebrate than by making sure you see as many iconic Canadian cats as possible — hence this CanCon list of cats to follow on TikTok. (Be sure to check out Canadian "cat-fluencers" on Instagram, too.) Scroll on for 15 internet-famous felines who are sure to entertain you with their love of adventure — and some of the cutest content out there.
