When you want them to release anything, like icky stuff they find in the street

This week Gordon is back! Danielle is teaching him to "drop it" — the perfect cue if your pup picks up a sock, a toy, or something icky out on the street that you don't want in their mouth.

Set your pup up for success by knowing how and when to reward them as they learn to let go on cue. Then, the more you practice this, the more accustomed to it they will become. After awhile, the cue will come naturally and no treat reward will be needed!
