Paul and Doug’s dream home is filled with eccentric accents, European fixtures & "Calgary’s longest bathroom"
When Paul and Doug found their dream home, they didn't hold back with the design. Built in 1961, the house caught the couple's eye while they were out walking a friend's dog one day. After hearing it was up for sale, they marched right up to the door and begged the original owner to sell it to them.
While the house sits on a snowy Calgary street, its Californian vibes led the couple to coin a new nickname for it: "Calgafornia."
An interior designer himself, Paul filled the home with mid-century European decor, eccentric accents and antique finds from the pair's travels together. Check out the video below to step inside the sprawling space and see why Paul and Doug say the spot is "built for entertaining."
