Song submission period
Entrants can submit their songs from Monday, June 10, at 11 a.m. ET to Tuesday, June 25, at 3 p.m. ET.
Elite 50 revealed and Searchlight Standout stream released
The Elite 50 artists will be announced on Tuesday, July 30, at 8 a.m. ET, the same date as the Searchlight Standout stream will be released on the CBC Listen app.
Top 10 revealed
The Top 10 artists will be announced on Friday, Aug. 16, at 8 a.m. ET.
Searchlight grand prize winner and secondary winners announced
The winner and the secondary winners will be revealed on Monday, Aug. 26, at 8 a.m. ET.
