Country/blues musician Jeremie Albino spent a decade as a farm worker in Ontario's Prince Edward County, where he would callus his palms in the field by day, and his fingertips on the guitar by night.
You can hear this in his music, a timeless blend of folk, rock and blues that evokes a bygone era as he tells stories of hard work, love and loneliness.
Albino wrote his debut album, Hard Time, on the farm and released it about a year ago. He's been catching a ton of buzz, with tours across Europe and North America, sharing stages with the likes of Nathaniel Rateliff and Black Pumas. Albino is currently working hard on his second album and has just released a new single called "Saw That Light."
