Over the weekend, Joni Mitchell performed at the Hollywood Bowl for her first show in L.A. in more than 28 years, treating the crowd to her hits including "Big Yellow Taxi," "A Case of You" and more.

The legendary singer retired from performing in 2009 when she was diagnosed with Morgellons Disease, and stepped away from the spotlight in 2015 following a brain aneurysm. She returned to live shows in June 2022 with an appearance at the Newport Folk Festival, and 2024 has been something of a comeback for Mitchell, who performed at the Grammys for the very first time and also took home the award for best folk album.

For her Hollywood Bowl Joni Jam, Mitchell was joined by a star-studded lineup of musicians including Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Allison Russell and more, who all cycled through a 27-song set together.

The show was met with rave reviews, with the Guardian reporting that "Mitchell is one of those artists who seems to speak directly to you, the listener, making sense out of your darkest days or most personal experiences." Rolling Stone wrote that Mitchell "delivered a landmark concert filled with stunning classics, thrilling deep cuts, and laughter in between."

From her singing "Shine" with Brandi Carlile to performing "I'm Still Standing" with Elton John, these are the some of the highlights from Mitchell's show.
