Up-and-coming Canadian artists Tate McRae and Ali Gatie were both up for their first Juno Awards this year, including Juno Fan Choice for both of them, as well as breakthrough artist for McRae and both album and artist of the year for Gatie. While neither artist came away with an award this year, they did give a colourful performance of their hit collaboration, "Lie to Me."
