Reverie 2024: Watch Ashley Ghostkeeper and Logan Staats perform live
The 2 singer-songwriters played at TD Music Hall during the 2024 Indigenous Music Residency showcase

The 2024 Reverie Indigenous Music Residency featured several Indigenous artists who spent a month in Toronto honing their craft and writing songs.
Among them were Métis-Cree country singer-songwriter Ashley Ghostkeeper and Mohawk rock/folk singer-songwriter Logan Staats, who performed live in concert as part of the residency's culminating showcase.
Staats, who is from Brantford, Ont., shared that growing up he didn't know where he fit in, but music always created a place where he felt he truly belonged.
"It was always a place where I could close my eyes, feel like I was connected to creator," he told CBC Music.
For Ghostkeeper, she says music is in her blood.
"I come from a strong line of storytellers, singers, musicians, and it's such an honour to carry that into the next generation," Ghostkeeper, who grew up in Red Deer, Alta., told CBC Music.
Both Staats and Ghostkeeper gave heartfelt performances at TD Music Hall, sharing songs they crafted during the residency. Watch each of them below.
