A multi-million-dollar marijuana grow operation was busted by RCMP officers in rural Manitoba.
Police seized close to 2,000 mature marijuana plants as well as approximately 25 kilograms of processed marijuana from a property in the Rural Municipality of Fisher, located in the Interlake region north of Winnipeg.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $3.5 million, RCMP said.
Officers converged on the property at about 7 a.m. on Thursday.
Six men from Winnipeg have been arrested and are facing numerous drug-related charges.
Police continue to investigate.
