Two local groups — Jimmy Swift Band and the Stanfields — will also play July 23 on the Halifax Common, promoters announced Tuesday.
The Black Eyed Peas will hit the stage the following day, along with Weezer and Classified.
The other performers booked for July 24 include Hot Hot Heat, Rich Aucoin and Chad Hatcher.
Promoters are offering rain insurance for people who buy tickets for the two-day concert before June 30.
If it rains at least 20 mm between 7-10 p.m. on Friday or Saturday, concert-goers will get their money back whether they stay or leave.
