P.E.I. boosts Testori's line of credit

The P.E.I. government has increased the credit line of Testori Americas Corp. to $6 million from $4 million.

Allan Campbell, the province's minister of Innovation and advanced learning, said he's confident the Summerside firm will repay the province.

"That particular transaction is just to allow Testori to meet its short-term obligations with respect to production, and I think it's important to remember that Testori is certainly a significant employer in the western part of the province."

The firm, which employs 190 people at Slemon Park, manufactures interiors for the aerospace and mass-transit industries. It has been on P.E.I. since 1994.
