Senator Callbeck gets new job

Senator Catherine Callbeck has been named vice-chair of the Prime Minister's Task Force on Women Entrepreneurs. It will look at everything from access to cash to maternity benefits.

Callbeck says her experience helping run the family business in P.E.I. will help her. "If you've been through something … it's much easier for you because you know some of the problems are and you have a wider grasp of the issues."

The task force has been asked to submit a report by May 2003.
