Trudeau hits back at the U.S. with big tariffs after Trump launches a trade war

President Donald Trump launched a trade war against Canada on Saturday by imposing a 25 per cent tariff on virtually all goods from the U.S.'s neighbour — an unprecedented strike against a long-standing ally that could throw the economy into a tailspin. A White House fact sheet sent to CBC News says tariffs of 25 per cent on Mexican goods and 10 per cent on China products will also be levied.
