2 teens charged with conspiracy to commit murder in Lambton County

Two teens have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in Lambton County, police say. 

Officers responded to a report of "a potential threat to multiple individuals" in Warwick Township on Feb. 12, police said in a statement Wednesday. 

After an investigation, a 15-year-old from Sarnia and 13-year-old from Warwick Township have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. 

Neither teen was named by police due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both have since been released following a bail hearing and will appear before Sarnia court at a later date. 

Police said in a statement they believe the threat was isolated and not a risk to public safety.
