True Blood's Paquin and Moyer wed

True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer get married in a sunset ceremony on the beach in Malibu.

True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer got married Saturday in a sunset ceremony on the beach in Malibu, Calif.

Canadian-born Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, exchanged wedding vows under a tent. Following the ceremony, the wedding party moved across the street to a private residence for the reception.

True Blood co-star Carrie Preston was among the guests.

Paquin won an Oscar at the age of 11 for her supporting role in the 1993 movie The Piano.

In true Hollywood style, she and Moyer fell in love on the set of their HBO hit vampire show.

Paquin plays psychic Southern waitress Sookie Stackhouse, who falls for Moyer's vampire character, Bill Compton.

They kept their relationship under wraps until February 2009 and announced their engagement six months later.

Paquin, who was born in Winnipeg and raised in New Zealand, made headlines in April by announcing she was bisexual as part of a campaign for gay rights.

Earlier this week, Paquin, Moyer and True Blood co-star Alexander Skarsgard appeared nude and smeared with blood on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine's September 2010 issue.
