Then, Canada lost to Argentina in the Copa America semifinals Tuesday. But soccer journalist John Molinaro says even getting that far is “a big shot in the arm” for the sport’s fortunes in this country, and the fans who love it. Plus, is there any water in Africa? Are there houses? Those are the kinds of questions that Nigerian influencer Charity Ekezie was getting on her TikTok videos, so she decided to reply — with a healthy dose of sarcasm.  And we bring you episode seven of The $6 Billion Gold Scam, the story of how an enormous goldmine fraud started to unravel after a Canadian mining company’s chief geologist mysteriously fell from a helicopter over the jungles of Indonesia.
