When You’re My Hero premiered on CBC Gem in 2023, creator Sean Towgood wanted to show a more complete picture of people living with disabilities. Like the character he portrays, Towgood has cerebral palsy, uses a motorized wheelchair and is very funny. He tells us about the journey to season two.
