On February 7, 2025 Diane Coon Come from Mistissini stepped down from her role as Miss Eeyou/Eenou Iskwaau. The first runner-up of the 2023 Miss Eeyou/Eenou Iskwaa pageant, Jade Mukash of Whapmagoostui accepted the role and was crowned on February 19, 2025 in her home town. We spoke with Jade about this transition.
