      Waldron: Montrealers could see a credit card payment hike

      In Quebec, as of August 1, the minimum credit card payment rate increased to 4.5%. This has surpassed the typical 2-3% rate in the rest of Canada. And another hike is expected again next year. This is part of a measure adopted by the Quebec Consumer Protection Office in 2017 to reduce consumer debt. Tayssa Waldron is founder of Déclic du fric, a financial literacy platform for women breaks it down for us.
