Artist Lou-ann Ika'wega Neel gets to know her ancestors through their carvings
Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw artist Lou-ann Ika'wega Neel visits the Museum of Anthropology at UBC and the Museum of Vancouver to see and feel masks and totem poles carved by her ancestors. Her grandmother Ellen Kakasolas Neel and great-great-grandfather Charlie Yakuglas James were prolific artists and carvers.
