Wild Rivers Live in Concert
Indie folk phenomena Wild Rivers wrapped their Everywhere We Go world tour with a sold-out show, delivering a heartfelt, harmony-rich performance. The trio, made up of Devan Glover, Khalid Yassein, and Andrew Oliver, opened the show with their latest release Never Better, immediately setting the vibe of what was to come: layered vocals, introspective lyrics and a warmth that’s become their signature. The set flowed from there and was the perfect mix of deep cuts, acoustic versions (played from a small stage in the middle of the audience no less) and new songs showcasing their range. The lyrical storytelling and soulful melodies were backed by tight musicianship from drummer Julian Psihogios and bassist Abby David, elevating the band’s emotionally charged sound. The crowd was fully involved, often serving as the backup choir for most of the show belting out lyrics to Amsterdam and Speak Too Soon. The trio wrapped with their slow-burning love ballad Heart Attack and moved on to their anthemic hit Thinking ’Bout Love. The audience adoringly sang along and cheered as the band took their final bow, wrapping the show in what felt like a collective group hug.
