Montreal punk powerhouse NOBRO brought its fearless energy to the iconic Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto for a night of mayhem and catharsis. From the moment band members Kathryn McCaughey, Karolane Carbonneau, Tara Cohen, Andy Silver and Josée Caron landed onstage they held nothing back, putting their own stamp on classic punk rawness. They opened the set with some crowd favourites including Where My Girls At?, A.I Sexbots and Let’s Do Drugs, showing off their explosive live presence. There was crowd-surfing, stage-diving and endless “N-O-B-R-O” chants from the loyal fans. The crowd was ecstatic to hear a couple new, unreleased songs while singing along to their favourites like Eat, Slay, Chardonnay and Bye Bye Baby. The set was tight with only short quips and banter in between, leaving the focus on the music. The bandmates played an impeccable set ending on their popular track LALA, leaving the crowd chanting for more.
