In one night, he went from the Liberal's lone MLA in Yukon, to being elected the Territory's premier.

Last night, the Liberal party led by Sandy Silver swept to victory in Yukon, pushing out the Yukon Party, which has governed for the last 14 years.
In his interview with As It Happens host Carol Off, Silver vowed to repair the government's relationship with Indigenous people in the Territory.
"First Nations governments have a right to be at the table," Silver says. "They are the resource rulers. This is how we're going to do it in the Yukon and it's on our terms."
