It is a crisis of staggering proportions. Today, there are more than nine million people displaced by the war in Syria. Three years after the uprising in Syria began as peaceful protests, this is now the legacy: a war with no end in sight. Countless homes destroyed. And a population on the move.

Nowhere is this crisis more acutely visible than in Syria's tiny neighbour: Lebanon. The Lebanese government estimates there are now one-point-three million refugees from Syria. That's nearly one in four people.
