Sept. 26, 2015: Campaign promises, the Fords' stag and Happy Birthday

Mary Walsh of This Hour Has 22 Minutes fame joins comedians Ashley Botting and Anand Rajaram as they try to digest a tiny portion of the news buffet we’ve been force-fed by our feeds.
We loved that retired NBA star Kareem Abdul Jabbar co-wrote a Sherlock Holmes spin-off novel. The Fords' stag party kind of missed our news feeds. We're over the allegations about British Prime Minister David Cameron and what he may have done to a pig. (crimespree magazine/Twitter/Shutterstock)

This week we quizzed our panel on the many promises being made during this interminable federal election.

Recently, Rob Ford tweeted a public invite to his nephew-in-law's stag party. Mary Walsh weighs in on what might happen if her famous character Marg Delahunty makes an appearance.

And our comedians blow out the candles to celebrate as the tune 'Happy Birthday To You' enters the public domain.

Why?

Because News.
