What does it take to be Canada's next astronaut?

More than 3000 Canadians have applied to become our country's astronauts this summer. And only two will eventually make it. Shawna Pandya is one of the applicants.

More than 3000 Canadians have applied to become our country's next astronauts, but only two will be chosen to go to space.

The Canadian Space Agency started accepting applications in June, and today is the deadline. 

Edmonton doctor Shawna Pandya is one of the astronaut hopefuls. She talks to Candy about her training and why she has decided to apply.
