Our Olympians | Josh Cassidy never stops being a warrior

He had the motto, "Be a Warrior," tattooed on his leg as a constant reminder of his accomplishments.

Josh Cassidy was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer just weeks after he was born. The illness left his legs partially paralyzed.

But from an early age, Josh decided he will never let disability hold him back. He got into the world of sport early, playing hockey and football with his siblings. Fast-forward several years, when he broke the record for the best time ever for a wheelchair marathon.

Josh is an accomplished Paralympian, heading to his third Games next month to represent Canada in wheelchair racing.
