Helen McCrindle has been making kilts for 25 years out of her home studio in Vancouver.
What started off as a way to connect to her Scottish roots quickly turned into a profitable business. She estimates she has sold over 500 different kilts over the years.
Each kilt is hand-made, with tartans imported from Scotland according to the customer's wishes.
Now a veteran kiltmaker, Helen was previously president of Embroiderers' Association of Canada.
She talks to Candy about keeping the kilt-making tradition alive.
