After Philippe Manasseh and Nadim Maghzal immigrated to Canada from Lebanon as teens, neither of them planned on being electronic musicians.
As Philippe came closer to graduating with a degree in finance, and Nadim was finishing his PhD in Biology, they decided to drop everything and pursue their dreams. This is how Wake Island was born.
The musicians tell Candy about why they decided to pursue music.
