A recent report has predicted an average increase of six per cent in housing rents across Canada.

Approximately 30 per cent of Canadians — middle-class families, young adults, baby boomers, seniors, and new immigrants — are relying on rental housing.

While some are renting by choice, many struggle to find innovative solutions to survive or escape the forever-rising rents. Meanwhile, others are living on the brink of homelessness.
