Converse and the difficulty of trademarking fashion

With their unmistakable star and rubber toe cap, Converse's Chuck Taylor All Stars are arguably the most iconic sneaker in history. But now Converse is claiming that 31 companies — including Walmart,  Fila and Skechers ​— are ripping off their iconic design. Brent talks to fashion lawyer Susan Scafidi, about whether Converse can lay claim to a design that's been around for nearly 100 years and imitated countless times.
