Do cameras belong in Canada's courtrooms?

As former senator Mike Duffy's trial gets underway, two lawyers debate the value of having court cases in Canada recorded on video.

Reporters from across the country descended on an Ottawa courthouse this week for the Mike Duffy trial. The former senator has pleaded not guilty to 30 charges of fraud and breach of trust, and one count of bribery. There's huge public interest in this case, but cameras aren't allowed to record in the courtroom. Is it time for that to change? Media lawyer Paul Schabas and defense lawyer David Lutz, debate that question.
