Riffed From The Headlines 08/08/2015
Riffed From The Headlines is our weekly quiz where we choose three riffs linked by one story in the news. Guess the story that links the riffs and you could win a Day 6 tote bag! You can listen to this week's clues and e-mail us your answer at day6@cbc.ca. Make sure to include your mailing address and put "Riffed From The Headlines" in the subject line.
Last week's clues were "Bicycle Race" by Queen, "Top Down" by Teenage Head, and "Police On My Back" by The Equals. The story we were looking for comes from Waterloo's town square where three sisters organized a rally after being stopped by police while cycling topless near Kitchener. Our winner this week is Jo Goossens of Waterloo, who wrote to tell us she supports the sisters' protest, but will be keeping her own shirt on. Congratulations Jo - enjoy your Day 6 tote bag!
