Day 6

Baseball vs. hockey: which sport is more exciting?

With Blue Jays fever at an all-time high and the NHL season now underway, Olympic hockey player Sami Jo Small takes on life-long Jays fan and author Trevor Cole to debate which is the better sport, baseball or hockey.

Blue Jays fever is higher than it's been in more than two decades. Fans are coming out of the woodwork, rooting for Canada's only major league baseball team to win big. So you can be forgiven if you hadn't noticed that hockey season is back in swing too. But for fans looking for excitement, which is the better sport to get behind?

Author and journalist Trevor Cole is a life-long Blue Jays fan, and says baseball is king. Sami Jo Small is a three time Olympian and gold-medal winning hockey player for Team Canada, and says hockey offers up far more excitement than baseball.
