Day 6

Riffed from the headlines 02/04/2016

Day 6's weekly music challenge

Riffed From The Headlines is our weekly quiz where we choose three riffs linked by one story in the news. Guess the  story that links the riffs and you could win a Day 6 tote bag and a personalized note from our very own Brent Bambury.

Last week's clues were David Bowie with "Five Years," Usher with "Follow Me," and Bobby Day's "Rockin' Robin."

Congratulations to Barb Deric of Ottawa who correctly guessed the headline we were looking for: "Twitter turns 10."

Ahem. And we have a mea culpa that makes Ms. Deric's accomplishment all the more impressive. Because much as we love us some Bowie, "Five years" is hardly a good clue for a tenth birthday. So congratulations again. A Day 6 tote bag is on its way.

And here's perhaps what should have been a more appropriate clue: Run DMC's "10 Years."

You can listen to this week's clue below and email us your answer at day6@cbc.ca.

Make sure to include your mailing address and put "Riffed from the Headlines" in the subject line.
