Contending with all of Kobe Bryant's legacy

Today on Front Burner, after the shocking death of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, we dig into his complicated legacy, which includes both being a role model to countless people, and a 2003 allegation of sexual assault.

NBA legend Kobe Bryant died on Sunday in a helicopter crash near Calabasas, Calif.,, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people.

The 41-year-old 18-time NBA all-star won five championships with the L.A. Lakers. His legacy is also complicated by the fact that in 2003 he was accused of sexual assault. The criminal charges were dropped after his accuser refused to testify in court.
